Registration for our Summer Class of 2026

will open on March 15th, 2026

Class Dates/Times

Our hybrid course includes 5 in-person classes and online coursework.
All classes meet at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Milford, Ia.
You will also complete 20 hours of online course work.
3 sessions are led by guest speakers on driving-related topics.
- A 50 minute presentation on railroad safety.
- A 2 hour presentation from a Iowa State Trooper who will present on a number of topics including:
  - cell phone laws
  - school/work permit law
  - distracted driving
  - defensive driving
  - driving under the influence
  - consequences for our actions when we are behind the wheel
- A 2 hour presentation from ABATE of Iowa.
Included in the total of 30 hours:
- 4 hours of substance abuse education
- 20 minutes on railroad crossing safety
- Organ donation awareness
- Sharing the road with bicycles and motorcycles
6 hours of behind-the-wheel driving with a certified instructor.
6 hours of observation with a driving partner.

*DRIVE TIMES ARE WEEKDAYS AND ON WEEKENDS.

* MR. KNUDTSON, OFFICER COLT, or OFFICER KRUEGER WILL BE YOUR BEHIND-THE-WHEEL INSTRUCTORS.

Pay Per Lesson

IN THE EVENT PARENTS WOULD LIKE THEIR STUDENT TO HAVE MORE DRIVE TIME PRACTICE, WE OFFER EXTRA DRIVE TIMES AT A RATE OF $40 PER HOUR.
